THE Process of commissioning Your Beloved Tree Artwork

1. Contact Me using the form

The process is fairly simple. First, you contact me using the form on this page (or message me as you prefer) and we can have nice chat about what you are interested in. We talk about if you are interested in an artwork of a particular beloved tree in your life, or if you have something in mind that you would like to see realized. If you have no idea, this is not problem! I can help you by asking questions and making suggestions without pressure.

2. Send me Photos - Or I send you Photos

If it's the case that you have a specific tree in your life that you would like me to create, you can send me photos of the tree. These do not need to be high-quality photos - they are simply reference photos for me to work from with the important details that will help me represent your tree as closely as possible. 

And if you don't have a specific tree in mind, I can present you with photos of trees I think could be suitable from my own collection for you to choose from. 

3. Finalize your order of your tree

I send you a sales form by email that includes all the decisions we have made about the artwork. When you're ready, you use it to pay a down payment of 50% of the final price, as an indication to me that you are happy for me to go ahead with making the artwork as discussed. I will send you a secure method of payment through this website which uses Woo Commerce.

4. Receive your beloved tree

Wait times to receive your artwork varies according to my waitlist and shipping times, and I will discuss with you before you make your order. And I show you your tree before I send it to you to make sure you are happy with it. Other than that, it just arrives to your home.

This photo and drawing are not a match! They're just placeholders until I put in images that show the resulting artwork from a photo. 🙂

If I can Physically Get To Your tree

If you live locally to my world (I live in Ottawa and frequently go to the Toronto and Montreal areas), I would be happy to go take photos of your tree myself, if you're willing to wait until I am going your way. If weather permits, I could even make the artwork by setting up my easel and drawing live.

If You want a tree but not a commission

In addition to the commissions I do, I also set aside time every month to create artwork of my choosing as this is an important part of my artistic development. These pieces I make available to the subscribers of my newsletter, so please subscribe below if that interests you.
